Jess Honey is a Surrey based Textile Designer and Illustrator. Jess completed an Art Foundation at Kingston School of Art and graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a BA Hons. Degree in Textiles, specialising in Hand Screen Printing. Jess’ work is heavily influenced by Pop Art and her love of architecture, music and plants.
Jess has travelled all over America, Canada and Europe absorbing the different styles of architecture and scenery in each country and this is paramount in her work. Jess’ illustrations are a unique blend of hand drawn and digital editing, capturing the essence of the places she illustrates.
Jess previously worked for four years designing exclusive prints for the fashion brand ISWAI and she was featured on Clothes Show Live TV. Jess’ textile work has been exhibited at New Designers – Business Design Centre, London.
Most recently, Jess was featured as "Artist of the Month" for August 2020 over at Dark Yellow Dot. This is a huge accomplishment for Jess as an artist and the first of many accolades to come. You can see their article here.
