Mel Payne is an illustrator and designer specialising in creating bespoke stationery and unique original pieces that can transform your home or workspace.
Based around Surrey and Hampshire, Mel is creative director of the business (Mel Payne Prints) and welcomes all clients from around the world. Her focus is to bring distinctive yet memorable designs that have a narrative and personal meaning to each individual with whom she works with.
With a background in surface design, most of detailing on her work is hand painted or screen printed - a traditional printing technique.
We love Mel's work as we feel the romance of printing has been left behind the digital age - Mel is passionate about traditional techniques and even has a 25 year old heat press in her studio!
